Prepare to be a-mazed. Peckham has just got a dazzling mirror maze. It's been designed by this person here, Es Devlin:
The maze — called simply Mirror Maze — is at Copeland Park in Peckham until 25 September, inviting intrepid visitors to explore its elaborate corridors of mirrored walls and immersive graphics.
Visitors watch a film of the maze being crafted, before physically entering through a hole in the projection.
As well as ethereal visuals and soundscapes, this maze has got something that sets it apart from any other... a specially-designed scent.
Devlin compares this to a jasmine-scented candle in her bedroom which, as it burned down, provided the aromatic backdrop to numerous events in her own life.
Mirror Maze by Es Devlin is commissioned by The Fifth Sense, a partnership between CHANEL and i-D,.
It's in Copeland Park, 133 Copeland Road, SE15 3SN from now until 25 September. Open noon-8pm on 21, 22 and 25 September; noon-10pm on 23 and 24 September. Entry is free.
