Free West End Theatre Tickets For Kids This Summer
The Railway Children is one of the shows taking part in Kids Week 2016.

Children can get free tickets to over 30 West End theatre shows this summer, as Kids Week returns to London.

The annual initiative, run by Society of London Theatre, offers a free ticket for an under 16 when they go to selected shows with a full-paying adult.

Tickets don't go on sale until 14 June, but some of this year's participating shows have already been announced and include Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, The Comedy About A Bank Robbery, Horrible Histories: The Best Of Barmy Britain, Mamma Mia!, The Mousetrap, The Railway Children, Wicked and Kinky Boots.

Alongside the shows, activities take place for little ones onstage and backstage, often led by the casts of the shows. Keep an eye on the Kids Week website for further information about these activities.

Kids Week 2016 takes place 1-31 August (more of a month than a week, some might say). Tickets go on sale 14 June at 10am — get in there quick.
