Things To Do In London When It's Sunny

We don't care about Paris in the spring, or New York in the summer — there's nowhere on earth we'd rather be than London when it's sunny.

Rooftop bars

Drop by Dalston Roof Garden.

Drinking al fresco can only be beaten by drinking al fresco with a view. London is a beautiful city and one of the best ways to enjoy it is with a drink in hand, on the top of a tall building.

Here's our guide to the top rooftop bars to drink at this summer.

London's best ice cream

Cool off with some delicious ice cream or gelato — here are our favourite spots for indulging in the delicious cold goodness.

Head for a beer garden

There's a bounty of beer gardens in London, from the diminutive, cute little spots to sprawling spaces. We did some extensive (and very arduous) research and have mapped our favourites here.

Go for a walk

There's so much to explore in London, so strap on some comfy shoes and make the most of the city on foot. Whether you're after a major adventure, or a short stroll there's plenty on offer. Our list of weekend walks will get you off on the right foot.

On your bike

If walking pace is too slow for you, the city has plenty to offer cyclists.

Little gardens

Eat by the water

Rotunda
