Holborn Is Getting A Nutella Krispy Kreme Vending Machine

It's the rightest/wrongest/most dangerous pairing since Richard Burton and Liz Taylor: Krispy Kreme doughnuts — the ultimate givers of joy and diabetes — have twinned with Nutella to create the 'Nutty Chocolatta'.

What's more, the doughnuts will be available from a vending machine in central London from Monday.

Each doughnut is £2, which you can pay for with contactless only.

The vending machine opens at  229 High Holborn, WC1V 7DA on 9 May and is there until 21 May. It'll be in service daily 8am-8pm.

We urge you to gorge responsibly and not to max out your card.

It would have been nice if you had specified Type 2 diabetes in this article, rather than simply 'diabetes'. Type 1 diabetes develops mostly in children/young adults and is an autoimmune disease in which the pancreas stops producing insulin for no real reason - it's not caused lifestyle at all. Type 2 is the type of diabetes which is caused (in most cases) by having an unhealthy diet over time and therefore develops mostly in older adults. It's hurtful to people with Type 1 to group the two types together as simply 'diabetes' in reference to sugary food, as they're completely different conditions and Type 1 has nothing to do with diet.
