Taste Parr's photography...on a plate

London has seen plenty of  art-inspired supper clubs in the last few years, with top chefs taking famous works of art and turning them into edible masterpieces.

Now, for the first time at an art fair, world-famous photographer Martin Parr serves up his quintessentially British artworks on a plate.

At The Art of Dining you'll taste incredible food that recreates Parr's kitsch, humorous pictures, bringing them to life on the table.

The dinner reproduces the artist's favourite photography subjects — tea, sandwich, pie and custard. Each of these elements is reinvented by Moro-trained chef Ellen Parr who mixes sweet and savoury and explores flavours from around the world.

Innovative set designer Alice Hodge, meanwhile, has created a specifically-designed dining area and exhibition space where you'll immerse yourself in Martin Parr's world.

Before the four-course meal, arty gourmands will sup on a complimentary cocktail in the Living Room Bar — retro classics that are also recognisable from Parr’s photography.

This one-off dining experience is part of The Other Art Fair, taking place next month at Bloomsbury's Victoria House.

Tickets are £40 per person and include a four-course dinner, a complimentary cocktail and unlimited entry to the fair from Friday-Sunday. Book yours now.
