Fancy having a cracking view of the Thames, getting the adrenalin going AND doing your bit for charity to boot?

The St Thomas' Abseil is a chance for the public to get to the top of the hospital's North Wing building, directly across the Thames from Westminster and the Houses of Parliament, with the London Eye nearby too.

The 160ft abseil is led by qualified instructors, so no abseiling experience is necessary — just a penchant for adrenalin, and a willingness to forgo the feeling of solid ground beneath your feet for a few minutes.

All sponsorship money raised by plucky fundraisers goes to Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals, and Evelina London Children's Hospital.

The St Thomas' Abseil takes place on 13 May. Registration is £30 per person or £75 for a team of three, with a sponsorship target of £150 per person.
