We Do Talk About Fight Club: Movie Nights About Pugnacious Londoners

Londonist is proud media partner to 1000 Londoners Movie Nights

Ding ding: seconds out for the third week of documentaries about real London people with less than ordinary lives, as 1000 Londoners brings its Fight Club programme to cinemas across the city.

Starting on Monday and running in different locations all week, the screenings will feature a range of films, archive footage and live Q&As all themed around the idea of scrapping both in and out of the ring. The docs feature the likes of Alan, a five times British Champion of LDN wrestling; Christina (aka Brat Worst), a London Rollergirl and part of the DIY punk scene; and Ryan, who holds three world records playing the classic computer game Street Fighter.

Here to whet your appetite is Griff, who sells replica assault rifles and pistols in Highgate:

The screenings can be booked by clicking on the links below.

The screenings are part of the BFI’s Britain On Film season and are supported by Film Hub London with Londonist as media partner. You can see a new short documentary on the 1000 Londoners website every Thursday.
