When you read headlines about paintings selling for over $170m, it easy to think that art is for the wealthy elite.
But if £50 for a work of art sounds reasonable — and it definitely does to us — then head down to Studio 73 in Brixton Village for the Nifty Art Fair where £50 is the MAXIMUM you'll fork out. 40 artists have produced pieces for the thrifty fair, and bargains abound.
Nifty Art Fair is on at Studio 73, 73 Brixton Village, SW9 8PS until 22 November. Entrance is free and it's open Tuesday to Sunday.
