Video: Secrets Of The Overground Part 1

In a follow up to our popular Secrets of the Underground series, we've finally gone all-out orange, taking an in-depth took at the other line on the tube map — the London Overground.

In this video (the first of two parts) we find a one-a-day train, an abandoned curve of track which could be re-instated, a disused viaduct, and show you where on the Overground you can pass through Zone 1 and not be charged for it.

If you subscribe to our YouTube channel you'll also get to see Part 2 before anyone else when it's published in a few weeks time.

Great video! One other 'secret' Overground station for you - Battersea Park. There's two trains a day that start from there and run towards Wandsworth Road / Clapham High Street. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/cdn/stat...

I'd seen the "once a day" train in the the timetable, and I was was hoping you'd answer the big question: why doesn't it come back? Why aren't there dozens of one-way only diesel trains jamming up Willesden Junction?

Yay! Another 'secrets' video. Excellent work Geoff, looking forwards to part 2 and another outing for the natty orange tie!

I don't see a subscribe button, but another great video... very interesting, geeky, and I think Geoff is cute. I'm in gay geeky heaven.
