The RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch takes place this weekend. We've already helped out Londoners who don't have a garden by pointing them in the direction of the best places to go birdwatching all year round in London. We also told you about a new nature reserve coming to Stoke Newington. All of this left us feeling an affinity with our flying feathered friends, so to round off the week, here's a gallery of London birds.

Thanks to the following photographers for use of their photos via the Londonist Flickr pool: David Abbs, Edward Simpson, Gary Etchell, helenoftheways, Joe Dunckley, LaMadrileña, Lee Jackson, Melanie Stanton, Michael Garnett, Olly Denton, Palash Mitra, Peter H.
