A Magical Christmas Comes To Belgrave Square Garden

Belgrave Square

Christmas comes to Belgrave Square on Saturday 6 December, as part of Nomad Cinema's winter events.

The Garden will be transformed into a Christmas kingdom for all the family to enjoy. Activities such as sleigh rides, face painting and carol singing are bound to enchant children (and the young at heart) — and that's before you've got round to visiting Santa, or meeting ponies, meerkats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, an owl, a goose and more at the petting zoo.

If your little Londoner is a fan of Disney's Frozen, you won't want to miss this: the film will be playing as a backdrop to the activities — along with other Pixar short animations — and there's a chance to meet one of the characters.

Hot and cold food will be available, although there is no seating. Wrap up warm, as it's an outdoor event.

The rest of Nomad Cinema's Christmas programme has been announced and includes screenings of festive classics such as Bad Santa and Elf at venues including The Lookout at Hyde Park and Hippodrome Casino.

Magical Christmas takes place in Belgrave Square on Saturday 6 December, 1pm-6.30pm. Tickets are £15 (under 3s go free) and need to be prebooked.  Tickets for all Nomad screenings start from £15+bf, and can be booked here.

Nearby: You're close to Hyde Park which has toilets, a playground, and by 6 December, Winter Wonderland will be open (free to enter but book ahead for paid attractions). Green Park is a little further away, and the museums of South Kensington (Natural History Museum, Science Museum, V&A) are about 25 minutes walk away. Entry is free to all, and they all have cafes/restaurants.

Looking for more things to do in London this Christmas? Or family activities over the festive period?
