Booze And Boos At London Dungeon Lates

DungeonFollowing a successful season of adults-only events earlier in the year, London Dungeons again throws open its doors after dark this November and December.

On arrival at the Friday evening shindig (7 and 12 November, and 5 and 19 December), thrill-seekers can first steel their nerves with an authentic Victorian cocktail at the Dungeon's den of disrepute — a replica gin palace. Once suitably, ahem, loosened up, the dressing up box becomes a free- for-all, so visitors can look the part for their 60 minute tour through London's past. This being the Dungeons, London's rosier history will be ignored — expect instead a 1000-year horror show featuring the likes of Messrs Ripper and Todd. Mrs Lovett will even be on hand with alcohol-infused pies, for those who dare to sample.

At £40 a ticket, it's not the thriftiest night out, but the price includes a gin cocktail on arrival, access to the Dungeon's dressing up box, and "a selection of surprise tipples" throughout your tour — plus the opportunity to snap your most macho mates peeing their pants in fright.

London Dungeon Lates take place on 7 and 21 November and 5 and 19 December, from 6.30pm. Tickets are £40.
