Best Gigs In London This Week: 22-28 September 2014

Tom Du Croz from LondonGigGuide selects five small/medium gigs around town this week.

Tuesday 23 September

Kate Miller, Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen, Shoreditch

https://soundcloud.com/katemiller-music/collar-up-1

She is only 19 and already making tracks like this — you'd better get your ticket now. Her debut EP is available to preorder on iTunes as we type.

Wednesday 24 September

Claire, Oslo, Hackney

Happy to describe themselves as pop but keen to distinguish themselves from the factory-produced acts that dominate the charts, this band is combining quality musicianship and beautiful harmonies with stunning production and a slick delivery. Go see them play live and decide for yourself. Their new album The Great Escape is out now. @claireoffcl, @OsloHackney

Friday 26 September

Len Price Three, The Half Moon, Putney

Three men in immaculate striped blazers delivering their own blend of surf, punk rock and roll. This track is from their recent album Nobody Knows. @thelenprice3, @HalfmoonPutney

Gemma Ray, The Lexington

She has just been over to the States, and this is her only UK gig before she returns to her home in Berlin. Her new album, called Milk for your Motors, is out now. @gemmaraymusic, @thelexington

Saturday 27 September

Ringlefinch, Slaughtered Lamb, Old Street

A stomping good-time alternative folk band with touches of flamenco, gypsy jazz and epic harmony. This track is from their first ever release which is an EP called Mass Trespass. @RinglefinchUK, @slaughteredlam
