This gig is part of another full day of free music at Proud in Camden. The lineup is huge and features a variety of musician but Richard was our pick of the bunch — he is on at 2.30pm.

Wednesday 7 May

BRNS, Old Blue Last, Shoreditch

Their full album, PATINE, is set for a late August 2014 release. BRNS are visiting from Brussels as part of a tour, which will see them play venues throughout the UK, France and Germany. Their free gig tonight is a rare chance to see them in London.

Friday 9 May

Harleighblu, Hootenanny, Brixton

It is a steal to be able to see an artist like this for only £3! Or its free if you get there before 10pm. This artist is from Nottingham and recently signed to the Tru Thoughs record label.

Joe Innes & The Cavalcade, The Monarch, Camden

The band have promised to releases a new EP very soon, but in the meantime enjoy this single from one of their earlier releases. One of the other tracks on their EP is inspired by finding a dead rat and burying it — as you do. When was the last time you asked yourself "How clever is my velociraptor?". Find your answer at the gig tonight.

Sunday 11 May

Russell Joslin & French For Rabbits, The Harrison

This weeks double bill - and it's free.
Russell Joslin — A fantastic singer/songwriter. His songs speak of regret, anger and love. He is amazing live.
French for Rabbits — Beautiful track from this New-Zealand-based, dream pop duo. They are touring the north of England and then return to London to play the Finsbury on the 19th.
