With festival season nearly over for another year, plenty of gigs are being announced for the coming months. Here's a selection on sale this week. Tickets to all these should be available from around 9am Friday.
Los Angeles blues-rock duo Deap Vally (pictured) bring their primal sound and fuzzy guitars to Electric Ballroom on 14 October. Go and see them before they're playing bigger venues. Tickets £12 + bf.
Carter USM's Jim Bob has been busy working on new solo material. There's a single available on his website, and you can bag tickets to see him play a one-off show at Bush Hall on 30 November. Tickets £15 + bf.
Looking just a little further ahead, on 14 May the Bard of Barking plays Hammersmith Apollo. And no matter what you think of his politics, you can't deny Billy Bragg can stir up a crowd. Tickets £22.50 + bf.
Also next spring, The Four Tops and The Temptations will play The O2 on 3 April. The lineups of both groups have changed somewhat over the years, but you can still expect to hear the hits when they co-headline this tour. Tickets £46 + bf.
Also booking this week: The Courteneers, Wooden Shjips, Johnny Mathis and Poliça.
