On the final day of this year's revamped Thames Festival a group of Londonist readers and photographers followed a trail around the closing day events. We took in the Classic Boat Festival at St Katharine Docks, stopped by the exhibition about the history of the docks, watched barge racing on the Thames, browsed the stalls at Blue Ribbon Village, heard wonderful singing in the Scoop and followed the Thames Path back to Waterloo and Portrait of the River as the rain eventually drew in.
Some great photos, some of which are shared here, were captured for the festival's photography competition, Thames Lens. If you got photos of Thames Festival events, or even just of the Thames or the city from the river, you can enter the competition too - details here.
Many thanks especially to Francesco Camardo, Dave Pearce, Bill Green, John Wilkes, Abinash Nayak and Barbara Beasley.
