Free Outdoor Entertainment At National Theatre This August

NTAugustOutdoors

The National Theatre is putting on free entertainment on the South Bank, Fridays and Saturdays throughout August.

It's not too late to catch street cabaret from Half Human Theatre and The Thinker by Stuff & Things, which is an "extraordinarily indiscreet human telepathic transmitter", both on at various times today in the space by the Thames outside the NT.

Future performances include dance, circus, creating a huge chalk work of art, an investigation of pigeons (and their poo), puppets, percussion made from junk, music, children's theatre and a pop-up gallery.

These events are instead of the NT's usual summer Watch This Space festival of street theatre, because The Shed is currently sat in the area it normally happens in. Take a look at the NT's August Outdoors info to find who and what's on when.

August Outdoors is on 3, 9-10, 16-17, 23-24 and 30-31 August outside the National Theatre, SE1. Free.
