REFUGEES: As part of Refugee Week, the Council for Assisting Refugee Academics hosts an exhibition that explores the experiences of women refugee academics and celebrates the contributions of refugees to UK intellectual life. BARISTA TRAINING: Not to be confused with barrister training (which is probably a lot more time-consuming and a lot less free), Broadgate will be offering free coffee training session today at Broadgate Welcome Centre in conjunction with local coffeehouse The Liberty of Norton Folgate. SOLID GROUND: International Rescue Committee UK sent seven award-winning photographers to seven communities across the globe and asked refugees of disaster what home means to them.
