Random London Fact of the Day
The stretch of Northern Line between King’s Cross and Angel used to smell of sweaty feet, or changing rooms, according to John Betjeman, in this classic documentary from 1963 marking 100 years of the Tube. Watch also how bloody awkward everyone was in front of the camera back then.

Good Cause of the Day
Karaoke for a good cause tonight, if you happen to be free and fond of a good sing-song. B-Soho, a cocktail bar on Poland Street, presents Charaoke (that's charity + karaoke...clever, eh?), in support of the World Cancer Research Fund. The event will be co-hosted by Frayer Lee, who last year was the charity’s fastest female finisher in the London Marathon. It's a minimum of £5 entry, with all proceeds going to the charity. Raffle prizes, and awards for best singers will also be made. Doors open at 6.30pm, with the competition at 9pm.

London Weather
Today's forecast is constructed entirely using words from James Bond film titles.

A quantum of daylights, and never enough thunder from Russia. Tomorrow is another day. Golden diamonds fall from the sky, and you view no moon. You only finger her Majesty's secret pussy twice.

BBC Weather has Moore more.
