First Snowfall Leads To Some Delays

London's first snowfall of the winter has led to the inevitable transport delays, with some disruption on the tube and roads.

London Overground, the Central, Bakerloo, Piccadilly, Metropolitan and Victoria lines all suffered minor delays due to ice on the tracks. Flights out of Stansted were also delayed after the runway was closed.

It's not expected to last, so we probably won't get a chance to build a snowman unless it's a really small one, but keep an eye on TfL's live travel updates. Now would also be a very good time for drivers to get some winter tyres.
