If your appetite for gravity-defying performance has been whetted, the Beyond Circus weekend at The Albany in Deptford this month will induct you further into the thrilling and beautiful arts of circus.
Female circus artists show experimental narrative work in development, above and around you, with Off The Ground on Thursday 22 November. Tricity Vogue hosts Circus Bites Cabaret on Friday, presenting a variety of tasty performance morsels and Irish duo Tumble Circus pose the question Death or Circus on Saturday, through the personae of Bono and Bjork. Not your average Big Top kind of bill.
Finally, on Sunday, see if your 7+ child is likely to run away with the Circus by giving them a chance to try out tumbling and flying with Circus Family Fun.
Beyond Circus runs from Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 November at The Albany, Deptford. Tickets for the shows are £12-14. Tickets for Circus Family Fun are £7.
