Things To Do In London On The Cheap: 10-16 September

Monday: Community Night at Casa Festival means Samba, Capoeira, live music, theatre and a community dinner at Ovalhouse Theatre from 6pm (free, or pay what you want, no ticket required).

Tuesday: Peckham and Nunhead Free Film Festival gets underway with a video installation about the 343 bus at Peckham Space (free).

Wednesday: Speculative Designer Steven Ounanian and a team of artists has been trying to create the perfect british citizen android - have they succeeded? Find out at Toynbee Studios from 7.30pm (free).

Thursday: David Barret talks about the impending apocalypse at South East London Folklore Society, upstairs at the Old Kings Head, off Borough High Street from 8pm - all welcome (£2.50/£1.50).

Friday: Kino London returns to the Horse Hospital - Russell Square for an evening of short films, filmmaking activies + free popcorn. 8.15pm (£4 entry, £3 with flyer).

Saturday: Punch a bucket of custard and play all new games at the Hide&Seek Weekender at the Southbank Centre (free).

Sunday: Find out what goes on at Jacksons Lane in Highgate with an Open Day Celebration including circus performance, street dance, class demonstrations and theatre tours between 12-4pm (free).
