Is learning to play the piano on your bucket list? Then you might be motivated by September being Learn To Play month.
Even better, top London music store Chappell of Bond Street are offering free music lessons on Learn To Play days throughout September. Sign up, and you’ll get an individual 20-minute lesson (long enough to find out if you really love it, we reckon) with a fully qualified (read: patient) teacher. The three classes on offer are for drumming, violin or piano. You don’t have to be a complete beginner either; Chappells are eager to give what they quaintly refer to as “lapsed players” the chance to rediscover their passion for playing. The final session in the series is a composition masterclass, for instrumental players wanting to find out more about the art of songwriting and composition.
