Everyone loves looking at London’s landmarks by night. It’s even more special if you can raise cash for charity while you’re doing it.
So we encourage you to sign up to the Big London Night Walk, the fourth annual night walk raising money for The Big Issue. On Friday 28 September, more than 600 people will take to the streets to complete a 20km walk, taking in many of London’s most impressive landmarks. As this is all about The Big Issue, the rest stops are at several fascinating buildings with an historical connection to the homeless community. You’ll have the chance to meet vendors and hear their stories. There’ll even be some live music along the way, to keep you going.
If you sign up before the 24 August, the registration fee is just £15. (It's £20 if you dither about til after 24 Aug.) You’re then required to raise £100 sponsorship money, which we think is rather reasonable for a good cause accompanied by a fantastic-sounding event.
