London Stand Up And Sketch Comedy: 26 August-1 September

Where to find funny this week

Sunday: Jeff Innocent (pictured) might look like he'll throw you out of a club, but you should experience his very sharp comedy for yourself. Go to Greenwich for Sunday Special and get Josh Howie and Michael Fabbri thrown in (7.30pm, £6 / £4).

Monday: Observational comedy that's actually good from Matt Green at the Good Ship, plus support from Paul Duncan McGinty, Sunna Jarman and one of the "Scandinavian invasion" (copyright Newsnight review, because there were at least three Scandi comics at Edinburgh and we all like The Killing now) Tobias Persson (8.30pm, £4 / £5).

Tuesday: Spend an hour chatting with Greg Proops at the Soho Theatre (7.30pm, £15 / £12.50).

Wednesday: Zoe Lyons acerbically headlines the 99 Club, alongside Robert White and Paddy Lennox (8.30pm, £8 / £12).

Thursday: We'd never heard of the Hedgehog Dilemma before writing this post, but that's what Wikipedia is there for. Felicity Ward talks about human intimacy at the Soho Theatre (7.30pm, £10 / £12.50 Fri and Sat).

Friday: Prepare yourselves: Jerry Sadowitz is back at the Leicester Square Theatre for the next two weekends. Funnily enough, the first three rows are completely available (7.30pm, £19.50 / £17.50).

Saturday: Live at the Chapel is putting together a post-Edinburgh bash. Acts are currently unconfirmed, but will be good (7.45pm, £18 / £16 + bf).
