Things To Do In London On The Cheap: 23-29 July

Monday: Go to 225 Kensington Church Street, W8 to watch Juke Box Theatre in a shop window courtesy of InTransit between 5-7pm and 8-10pm (£5).

Tuesday: The National Theatre will be set on fire three nights in a row creating The Fire Garden by The World Famous from 9.30-11.30pm (free).

Wednesday: Watch a Royal Opera House performance of The Owl and The Pussycat at Little Venice, W2 at 2.30 & 6.30pm (free, first come, first served).

Thursday: Explore the art galleries in Fitzrovia which stay open till 9pm for Fitzrovia Lates (free).

Friday: Watch out for the Olympic Torch on the Thames today, then head to Victoria Park, Hackney to watch the Olympic Opening Ceremony (free).

Saturday: Take your kids to Labyrinth, a free outdoor family friendly arts festival with promenade performance, street theatre, comedy and music in Victoria Park, Finchley between 12-6pm (free).

Sunday: Join the Kings Cross Cultural Quarter Walk, as part of Islington Exhibits, starting from Kings Place from 4-6pm (free).
