Tonight, what is being billed as London's largest nocturnal street food market arrives in E8, where the Street Feast will be feeding ravenous Dalstonians every Friday until the end of August.
Having previously helped to expand the wastelines of Spitalfieds residents, this evening will see 16 traders selling their tasty and flavoursome wares at Thames House, on Hartwell Street, Dalston. Grub-slingers on the opening night include Londonist favourite Anna Mae's, Mexican taco fiends Buen Provecho, Kiwi pizza patrons Homeslice, Yum Bun, Big Apple Hot Dogs, Kimchi Cult and more.
For those who prefer their food more serene than street, there's also the option of reserving a spot in the dining room, which features such rare luxuries as cutlery and plates.
If last year's Long Table is anything to go by, expect big crowds, in spite of the rain.
Street Feast is at Thames House, Hartwell Street, E8 3DU from 5pm to midnight. Nearest station: Dalston Junction.
