Park-Up App Helps Residents Find Olympic Parking

The 36,000 public parking spaces available in Newham, Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest will drop to less than 16,500 due to Olympic parking regulations.

Many streets will be subject to new restrictions and residents have complained about a lack of information from both their local authority and London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG).

Park-Up.com has collated information on all parking locations within the Olympic boroughs and elsewhere in central London on its website, free of charge. It's also available on a new iPhone app. Simply search on the location you want to park in and the website returns a handy map showing where you can park along with details of how parking is enforced and even car crime statistics.

Visit Park-Up.com to find your parking space. You can also follow @ParkUpcom on Twitter.
