Where to find funny this week

Sunday: There's some Really Lovely Comedy at the Black Heart, Camden from 2pm as part of the Camden Crawl. A good chance to see Thom Tuck. We like him. Tons of other music and comedy stuff going on, Sunday ticket £39.50+ bkg.

Bank holiday Monday: Newly-married (well done!) Richard Herring talks to Tim Minchin on the first of his Leicester Square Theatre comedy podcasts from 8pm but the tickets for are all sold out. If you can't wangle one from someone in the queue, go to Stand Up Tragedy in the Lounge instead at 8.30pm (tickets £10).

Tuesday: Nick Helm is our latest comedy crush and This Means War previewing at Hen and Chickens, promises romance, on a trip through the "carnage filled battlefields of his love-life". Show at 9.30pm (tickets £6.50).

Wednesday: Josie Long's Lost Treasures of the Black Heart is now a podcast and you can be at the live show at Camden's Black Heart from 8pm (£5 on the door).

Thursday: Get some laid back comedy with killer punchlines from Hannibal Buress at Soho Theatre at 10pm (tickets £15).

Friday: The London Improvathon 2012 BC begins with 50 hours of straight comedy impro to perform at Hoxton Hall, N1 from 7pm (tickets: buy a 50 hour pass, or buy 2 hours). Trailer below! Ends Sunday night.

Saturday: Londonist favourite, grumpy, thoughtful, irascible, passionate, clever, funny Robin Ince gigs at the Bloomsbury Theatre trying to find Happiness Through Science from 7.30pm (tickets £15).
