Yesterday Febreze launched their Fresh Havens in Canary Wharf - special green spots in urban places where people can breathe happy and enjoy outdoor London.

Two community spaces are being transformed as part of the campaign, thanks to Febreze working in partnership with landscape gardeners and local people. Pinemartin Activity Park in Dollis Hill now has a wildflower meadow, children's play area, community planting patch and a breathe happy pagoda, whilst a neglected patch in the grounds of The Whittington Hospital in Archway will soon be spruced up with a timber pergola, picnic area and a sensory garden.

If these permanent pastoral patches aren't near you, seek out the mobile Febreze Fresh Haven which is at Liverpool Street Station today and part of the Trafalgar Square St George's Day celebrations tomorrow. Next week the Fresh Haven will be bringing the bucolic to mainline train stations:

Monday 23 April - Euston Station
Tuesday 24 April - Victoria Station
Wednesday 25 April - Waterloo Station

P&G, the company behind some of the UK’s best known brands (such as Flash, Febreze and Ariel), is working with the Greater London Authority (GLA) to help make London a fresher, greener place in the run up to the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Febreze is asking Londoners to get involved and be part of the clean up squad working throughout our city.
