Things To Do In London On The Cheap: 12-18 March

Monday: Get the inside info on digital espionage at the free public lecture at LSE from 6.30pm (free).

Tuesday: Join Ambit Magazine at the Betsey Trotwood in Farringdon for an evening of poetry and prose readings and a chance to meet the mag crew from 7pm (free).

Wednesday: Artist Edward Thomasson discusses his current exhibition 'Inside' at South London Gallery from 7pm (£5/3).

Thursday: The Philharmonia Orchestra introduces the work of two major young composers with a Music of Today concert in the Royal Festival Hall at 6pm (free).

Friday: Enjoy late night music and read 100 word plays at 'Afterdark' in the Royal Court Café Bar from 10.15pm.

Saturday: Head to the Roundhouse where Irish music takes over all spaces to celebrate St Patrick's Day all afternoon (£2).

Sunday: Flock to watch the St Patrick's Day parade from Green Park to Trafalgar Square and stay and party all afternoon (free).

Consult hive guru, Phil Chandler the Barefoot Beekeeper at the Crown and Greyhound, Dulwich Village from 4-6pm (£5).
