This week: the Nine Lessons and Carols for Godless People series continues at the Bloomsbury Theatre from tonight until Friday, with host Robin Ince. Performers include Helen Keen, Darren Hayman, Isy Suttie, Mark Thomas, and Stewart Lee.
Monday: a bit less on the festive side, former Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder is playing an intimate show at Dingwalls.
Tuesday: former Long Blondes frontwoman Kate Jackson is at Madame Jojos.
Wednesday: folk musician and self-styled Scottish gentleman James Yorkston will be at Union Chapel.
Thursday and Friday: Cockney rock duo Chas and Dave will be at the Indigo 2 at the O2.
