Music Preview: Spotify Live @ The Lexington

Spotify Live, the music streaming service’s global live music event, comes to London with a free gig by Benjamin Francis Leftwich and Marques Toliver at The Lexington on Friday 11 November.

Partnered by The Guardian and London promoters Rockfeedback, the gig is the first in a series of four featuring two artists and guests DJs throughout  November and December, with future line-ups still to be announced.

Tickets are free on the door on a first come first served basis from 7.30pm on the night, but it’s a good idea to try your luck for one of a limited number of guaranteed entry guest list places via Rockfeedback's competition.

Spotify Premium account holders can apply for  tickets by emailing spotifylive@rockfeedback.com and answering a question. Competitions close midnight Wednesday 9 November with winners announced via email on Thursday.

If you don’t know Marques Toliver's soulful intricacy yet then take a listen here, he’s an American singer and violinist now resident in London. He’s amazing, super cool and you won’t have seen anyone like him live. Leftwich plays Shepherds Bush Empire, 22 Feburary, 2012.

Spotify Live takes place Friday 9 November, 7.30pm, The Lexington 96-98 Pentonville Road, London, N1 9JB. Over 18 only. It’s First come first served so best to try your luck with Rockfeedback's competition.
