Last weekend saw the latest White Mischief Halloween ball at Scala.

Titled "Ghost In The Machine", the event gathered together the steampunk fraternity and some of the best homemade costumes anywhere in London and presents them with an eclectic entertainment bill. The MC Professor Elemental is a chipper champion of chap-hop, a pith-helmeted prose-poet who keeps the curiously coutured crowd well entertained as he introduces the likes of burlesquer and Evening Standard columnist Millicent Binks, aerialist Jackie Le, rocking zombies The Men Who Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing plus silent comedian The Boy With Tape On His Face who was a huge hit with the audience.

Elsewhere around the building, we found interactive fortune-telling booths from Bear Gateaux plus impromptu ukelele from The Blue Lady aka Tricity Vogue.
