City Used As Picturesque Backdrop To Cher Lloyd Video

Ok, so the song may not be aimed squarely at the Londonist readership but there's something about the light, the pretty balloons rising through the city and the sweeping view from Shard to Tower 42 that endears the video to us.

Many thanks to Richard Morris who tipped us off on Facebook and worked out that Ms Lloyd and her gal pals start off in her 'bedroom' outside One Coleman Street before heading down Basinghall Avenue past this lone Edwardian building with a beautiful lawn.

Nerdy query: Do you know what building Mike Posner's standing on?

That's the roof of 76 Shoe Lane - which is used for just about every other London rooftop video shoot with a view of the City skyline.

It's funny that through a video like this, of the city I live in, Cher Lloyd has endeared herself to me a little to me. Nice video and thanks for identifying all the landmarks - especially 80 Coleman Street which I have never ever seen before! What a gem!

An X Factor contestant's new music video... this is surely a low point for Londonist.
