Where To Watch The Rugby World Cup 2011

The first game of the Rugby World Cup kicked off this morning in New Zealand at 9.30am GMT and saw host nation team the All Blacks pound Tonga 41-10.

England play Argentina tomorrow at 9.30am. The time difference makes following the action live in a pub a bit more tricky than usual but here are some places to tickle your rugby balls in public (in no particular order):

The Walkabouts in Shepherds Bush and Temple are good for all live matches and replays - free entry.

New South African pub Durbz in Southfields is showing ALL the World Cup games with a real Saffa breakfast in the beer garden beforehand.

The Haymarket Sports Cafe, SW1 is showing some games live each day - with breakfast - and some rerun at more amenable times.

The Famous 3 Kings in West Kensington, W14 is possibly the biggest sport pub in London and a massive rugby pub. It looks like it will be showing some RWC matches live as well as reruns in the afternoons but their blog is out of date though so do call ahead.

The Jam Tree is Kensington's going the extra mile with its coverage, even covering the 6am matches, serving a £20 per person breakfast.

The Jetlag Bar, Marylebone Lane W1 is showing all games live plus reruns throughout the day in their Cinema Lounge, as well as on the big screens in the bar.

The Clapham Grand, SW11 is also showing all games live. Check the listings though, some are free entry and others are ticketed.

The Cape at St Katherine's Dock - named for Cape Town - is showing live games Fri-Sunduring the RWC. Book a booth, breakfast packages available.

Waxy O'Connors off Leicester Square will be open for all Irish games live and will screen reruns of other matches from 1pm each day.

Roxy Bar and Screen in Borough is showing Argentina vs England tomorrow morning - doors open 8.30am - with a £15 ticket including full English breakfast or a tenner without. They're also showing South Africa vs Wales in the same manner on Sunday - check the website for future games.

All England games will be shown live at Renaissance pubs The Abbeville SW4, The Avalon SW12, The Tommyfield SE11 and Rosendale Pub and Garden SE21 with "hearty breakfasts" available.

You can watch every match live on ITV1 and ITV4 from the comfort of your own home or on ITV Player. Have a look at the full match schedule.
