On Your Marks, Get Set To Run In The Olympic Stadium

Your out-thrust chest and running feet could cross the finish line on the Olympic Stadium athletics track ahead of Mo Farah in the National Lottery's Olympic Park Run next spring.

The five mile run — which is open to all — will culminate in a dash for the finish line on the very track that elite athletes will conquer next summer. The event is to celebrate the National Lottery's £2.2bn support of London 2012.

Five thousand runners will be able to participate in the run on 31 March 2012. Places will be allocated by ballot. Details will be announced by the National Lottery later this month so, get set... and get jogging.
