SuperMen – An Exhibition of Heroes: Ben Turnbull's new series of collages constructs modern day heroes from fragment so vintage comic books to mark the ten year anniversary of 9/11 and celebrate the “real life heroes” (firemen, police, first responders) of the World Trade Center attacks. Compassion for the Kabaris: Delhi’s Wastepickers at the heart of a bold new green initiative: 19 photographs by Indian photojournalist Raghu Rai vividly portray the lives of waste-pickers who “comb through the tons of waste dumped on Delhi’s biggest landfill site, Ghazipur, recycling as they go.” The show runs Monday to Friday 8.30am-6.30pm until 30 September at William Road Gallery, 7-9 William Road, NW1 3ER.
