Peckhamite, Liz Bentley gave us pre- and post- separation poems, ending with a song about taking a small child to Sainsburys - warning, don't go on holiday with her :)

Pictures from last night's Londonist Presents: Performance Poets at Lewisham Literary Festival featuring four hyper-local performers, one from up the road, one who spends an awful lot of time here and one who's just jumped ship but was born and raised in Harrow. Click through the gallery for a flavour of the fab evening.

The festival closes tonight with Tall Tales, a night of comedy and storytelling for grown-ups with John Finnemore, Helen Arney and other brilliant people for £4 in Hither Green.
