Charity Tintin Lecture @ Wigmore Hall

Tintin fans can go back to the world-famous character's origins ahead of the new Christmas movie release at a charity lecture in London next month.

Michael Farr, one of the world's leading Tintinologists, will survey the life and origins of ace reporter Tintin in a one-off lecture at Wigmore Hall.

The Tintin lecture is being held in aid of the Simon Drew Foundation (SDF), a UK-based charity supporting the education of street children in the Philippines. You can read more about their scholarship scheme enabling young adults to escape the cycle of poverty on their facebook page.

The lecture takes place at Wigmore Hall, 36 Wigmore Street, London W1U 2BP, on Saturday 22 October at 3pm. Tickets cost £20 and can be purchased at www.justgiving.com/sdftintinlecture.
