Victoria Line Fails Twice In One Day

As if it wasn't bad enough having to go back to work after a bank holiday weekend, commuters on the Victoria line twice found themselves hit by delays yesterday.

The morning rush hour saw a breakdown apparently caused by signalling problems which led to suspension of service between Seven Sisters and Walthamstow Central. Another failure before the evening rush hour meant the line was again suspended, this time between Seven Sisters and Highbury & Islington.

Transport is one of Ken Livingstone and Boris Johnson's very favourite things to argue about so it can only be a matter of time before this latest round of delays finds its way into a salvo from one mayoral candidate to another.

Want to find out more about delays on your line? There's an app for that.
