Dancers will cut shapes through galleries full of sculpture at a special event to celebrate The Shape Of Things To Come: New Sculpture which features the work of 20 leading and emerging sculpture artists.
Choreographer, Richard Alston, will create site specific work responding both to the magnificent Duke of York HQ building and the exhibition. The audience will be invited to discover dance in unexpected places, scattered through the space, and contemplate the moving forms amongst the static.
The event takes place on Wednesday 7 September, 7.30-9pm at Saatchi Gallery, Duke of York’s Square, King’s Road SW3 4RY. Tickets are £10 from The Place.
Entry to the Saatchi Gallery and The Shape of Things to Come exhibition are free during normal opening hours.
