There's not long left to enjoy Cinnamon Club's Indo-Malay menu but if you've got the time and the money, it's well worth it. Created by the restaurant's up-n-comer chef Sankar Chandrasekhar and available until the end of August, the five course menu combines spice from the subcontinent with ingredients found on (and swimming around) Britain. Based upon a recent visit, we can testify to the quality of the starter of seafood soup with melon rice wine. Courses of coriander-crusted king prawn with shrimp-stuffed lychee and steamed red snapper with black chickpea and coconut relish are equally gorgeous. Cinnamon Club's Indo-Malay is £50. Early booking is recommended. Can't make it in time for this fishy feast? The Club has a “Game On” menu set for September featuring delectable sounding dishes such as Venison and prune kofta, tandoori breast of grouse and chargrilled crown of partridge.
