Music Choice: 2-8 May

Happy Bank Holiday, and may the Camden Crawl recovery begin! There's a fine line-up this week to keep you in new music:

Tonight, spacy post-rockers And So I Watch You From Afar rip it up at Scala. If after two four-day weekends your mind is preferring a gentle folk turn, O'Death is at Cargo with support from the Brute Chorus.

The dance party of the week is on Tuesday when LA's Baths lights up Cargo with his warm electro.

Wednesday, catch down-tempo glitch rock titans Deerhoof at the Garage. Or, make a solo visit to the North West to see singer-songerwriter Richard Walters in the rather lovely setting of St Pancras Old Church.

Thursday, buzzy rock band P.S. I Love You are playing the Lexington with support from Girls Names. On the more tranquile end, folk artist Joseph Arthur will be at Bush Hall.

Friday will get you your weekly dose of weird with Psychedelic Horseshit bringing their clustered beats and spazzed compositions to the Victoria in Dalston.

Sunday, band with a twee name that actually is twee Help Stamp Out Loneliness are doing their synth pop thing at the Victoria.
