The Big Chill House at Kings Cross has had a revamp and reopens tonight with a big free party.
We're glad to learn that a new shop front facade has been created to make the place more welcoming from the street. In future you'll be able to see people diligently tapping away on their laptops at a counter replete with anglepoise lamps when you look through the window, making the Big Chill House look more chill than it previously did with its ominous dark frontage.
Inside, they've redone the basement dining room and let artists loose to adorn the venue with festival inspired murals, installations and graf and upstairs has been smartened up.
Tonight you're invited to take a look and also to contribute to the decor adding to a mural and hanging up pics of you and your mates in festive fancy dress. A pagan initiation ceremony will bring the venue back to life, you can get free drinks with a voucher downloaded from the Big Chill website and bacon sarnies and brownies are promised later on. The party starts at 7pm.
