Hannah Jane Walker's intimate, round-table solo show 'This is Just to Say...' took place at Toynbee Arts Cafe and Bar this weekend, prompting an outpouring of intriguing, bizarre and poignant apologies from those who took part.

We were irresistibly drawn to the scattered notes left over from the show, the scraps spilling over with honesty and emotion. The mysterious, out of context missives range from the serious, 'I'm sorry I don't look after myself for you', to the lighthearted, 'I'm sorry I ate your soup'. Our favourite: 'I'm sorry that you think I stole a song from you'.
