Friday: Have an After Hours experience of the Natural History Museum. There will be bars and live jazz in the Central Hall. You'll have to pay to visit the Sexual Nature exhibition but free to view are the amazingly informative delights of the Darwin Centre, a big old diamond and the new Images of Nature gallery. Linger till 10.30pm.

Saturday: It's the Boat Race. And the Goat Race.

Go to an excellent comedy club in an unusual, secret location in the middle of the day for free! Only if you're prepared for an act of protest though. It's the day to March for the Alternative. Find out why some people are protesting.

Rich Mix celebrates Bangladesh Independence Day with a free concert in the bar, featuring globally renowned artists from Asia and the UK at 8pm.

Sunday: Remember clocks go forward! Cheer on the runners in the Newham London Run in Stratford from 9am til noon.

Celebrate Women's History Month today with two very different events. Learn about Darwin's female correspondents at South London Botanical Institute, Tulse Hill SE24 9AQ between 2-5pm (free). Go to an all-female hip-hop film screening, Seizing the Screen at Juno in Shoreditch, E1 7JE for 6.30pm. £5 in advance.

Monday: The Sohemian Society looks at the Sultan of Zanzibar's connections with Soho at the Wheatsheaf, Rathbone Place W1T 1DG from 7.30pm, £3 on the door.

Tuesday: Rambert Dance Company make a long awaited move from their cramped home in Chiswick to a purpose built building on the Southbank soon. To celebrate, pupils from Lambeth schools perform dance pieces inspired by Rambert in the Clore Ballroom at the Royal Festival Hall this lunchtime, midday, free.

Wednesday: Who is Curt Hatred? And what HASN'T he done? It's just £5 on the door for The Curt Hatred Salamander Projection improvised comedy show which explores the exploits of this notorious creation. Followed by the Music Box Improvised Musical. 8pm at The Miller, 96 Snowsfields Road SE1 3SS.

Thursday: It's all about electronica at The Nest, N16 tonight from 7.30pm with a new night dedicated to raving featuring: Waylayers + Blawan + Labyrinth Ear + Mademoiselle Mademoiselle. £5.
