An annual charity event that sees Londoners pounding the pavements to help the homeless is now open for registration.
The four-mile Crisis Square Mile Run takes in some of London's most famous landmarks (see above), even if they are mostly outside the Square Mile (and have a tendency to migrate to unfamiliar locations. Charing Cross...we're looking at you).
The event takes place on 9 June, starting in Paternoster Square and finishing on the Millennium Bridge. Registration is £17 per person, although you'll be encouraged to bring in much more than that in sponsorship. You can also take part in a team relay effort with a different route on 8 June (£30 per person, or cheaper if you block-book teams of 10 or 20 people). As always, entry also gets you into the after-run party.
The charity are hoping to raise £180,000 towards helping the homeless.
