Lako Bukia returns to London Fashion Week with a new collection that is cool but very wearable. Held at the Freemason's Hall as part of Vauxhall Fashion Scout, her latest catwalk differs from last year's by making heavy use of leather in the collars, cuffs and straps. This lends Bukia's creations a certain chromatic homogeneity with the different shades of autumnal brown highlighted by occasional uses of red, gold and white. The make-up deliberately accentuates the marron outfits with thick, chocolate lines around the eyes and dusky scarlet lipstick. Leather aside, another repeated motif was the bullet-pack which was added to the clothing either as a belt or a blunt detail.
