Music Choice: 6-12 December

Clear skies this week and London may just thaw out. Well, thaw might be a bit of stretch, but the trains and buses should run in a marginally more reliably than last week. Celebrate by pushing your curfew at a gig:

Tonight, atmospheric indie rockers Autolux make their UK return at the Garage. Or, if you've been wondering just what Witch House is, Disaro Records are celebrating the release of their ISVOLT compilation on this side of the Atlantic (in collaboration with Robot Elephant) at the Den in Soho.

Tuesday, Okkervil River frontman Roky Erikson is playing solo at the Electric Ballroom was due to play the Electric Ballroom, but unfortunately the gig has been cancelled. Continuing the folksy vibe are Sparrow and the Workshop, who play the Borderline with An Horse.

Wednesday, get a neo-90s pop fix from Trophy Wife at XOYO.

Thursday, a Neko Case bolstered New Pornographers takes teh stage at Shepherd's Bush Empire. Support comes from the lovably twee Allo Darlin'.

Saturday offers with a lunchtime set from acoustic wunderkind Misty Miller at Union Chapel. In the evening, InMe will round out their retrospective shows at the Garage with Herald Moth.
